Do you know what the census is? If you don't know, here's 👀:
Once every 5 years, the Australian Statistics office counts every person and household in Australia. This is called the Population and Housing Census.
This year will be held on Tuesday, August 10.
The census is the most complete statistical result in the country, and it is throwing us data to show us how much we have changed and/or evolved 📈.
This action includes around 10 million households, and more than 25 million people.
Census data report on the economic, social and cultural structure of the country 🇦🇺.
The results of the Census inform us of some important topics, such as:
Know the number of people living in regional and remote areas, and show where doctors are needed.
Know the number of babies born in a local community, and the languages being spoken.
